The Cotswolds Distillery

Amongst all the great places to visit while staying here in my Cotswolds accommodation we have The Cotswolds Distillery, situated in the village of Stourton which is between Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon.  We are offering a free tour and tasting with any booking that is made and confirmed for the rest of this year (subject to availability – it is very popular).  As this is a working distillery children under 8 cannot do the tour and all other under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and will obviously not be able to partake in the tasting sessions.

We are lucky that this is not the only distillery we have in the area, there is one in Oxford and another one in Cheltenham, but this one is our local and we can highly recommend the tour and the gin.  However, if gin is not your thing and you prefer a good beer then we also have two excellent local breweries, the Wychwood Brewery in Witney and Hook Norton Brewery which still uses the old dray to deliver to the local Hook Norton Pubs and also does tours.

Our Accommodation Come and Stay

Our self-catering Cotswolds accommodation comprises two cottages situated in the Cotswolds, near Burford.  They are within easy reach of Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Cheltenham, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the Wold, Cirencester and Bibury.  There is plenty to do in the area, for all ages, which makes it the perfect family holiday at any time of the year. We can accommodate from two to ten guests and if you want to come with friends each family can have their own cottage but there is room for you all to get together in The Gallery.
